Digital guides

Guides are licensed for personal, household use. Print as many copies as your household needs; please don't redistribute or resell the files. Download links are time-limited for security, but the files are yours to keep, so save them somewhere safe. 30-day happiness guarantee: if a guide didn't make you meaningfully more ready, reply to your receipt for a full refund.

Kit pre-orders

Pre-orders are charged at purchase and are fully refundable any time before your kit ships. Estimated ship dates are estimates; if a date slips materially, we'll tell you and offer a refund. Once shipped, unopened kits may be returned within 30 days for a refund minus shipping.

The capsule (Cache 001)

What it is: storage and logistics. Cache 001 is not a shelter and not a place to go during an emergency. Your capsule complements the kit at home and never replaces it, because access after a major earthquake is not guaranteed.

Activation: handback and delivery are provided as conditions allow, with no guaranteed access during the first 72 hours of a major event. Normal service target is handback within 48 hours of a request, or same day by appointment.

Prohibited contents: fuels and pressurized cylinders, firearms and ammunition, cash, jewellery and irreplaceable valuables, perishables outside the managed rotation program, and medications requiring refrigeration. We may refuse or return items at intake. Declared value is capped at $500 per capsule.

Address and access: the facility address is released to members after payment and is confidential to your membership. Access is by appointment only, with photo ID.

Pricing and positions: positions are assigned in payment order. The monthly price quoted at checkout is the price you keep; published band changes affect new members only. The first 50 positions carry a lifetime price lock at band 1 rates.

Cancellation: cancel any time; billing stops at the end of the paid period. You then have 30 days to schedule handback of your capsule (concierge members receive valet return). Capsules unclaimed after 30 days may be opened, inventoried, and held or donated per the manifest record, after written notice.

Don't abuse the site, scrape the store, or attempt to access other people's downloads. We may refuse or refund orders at our discretion (we've never needed to; let's keep the streak).

We may update these terms; the date below is authoritative. Material changes to purchased products' terms won't apply retroactively.
