One appointment

Book a packing session and we build your capsule to the Bunkerise manifest, photograph every item, and seal it. Or drop off a capsule you packed yourself; we inventory it the same way.

Step 2 · We keep it ready

Racked and rotated

Your capsule lives on anchored racking with a digital manifest: contents, quantities, expiry dates, photos at sealing, and a rotation log. Anything approaching expiry gets replaced before it does.

Step 3 · Handback

48 hours, or same day

Request handback any time: 48 hour target, same day by appointment. Concierge members never visit at all; we collect and return by valet.

This building holds 640 capsule positions, physically, ever. Pricing is published by band and rises as bands fill. The counter above is live and shows only paid positions; we never inflate it.

Second capsule, same household: $19 CAD per month flat, any band. One-time setup of $39 CAD per capsule covers the tote, seals, and your packing appointment. The first 50 positions carry a lifetime price lock: the price rises at position 201; yours never will.

Your capsule complements the kit at home and never replaces it, because access after a major earthquake is not guaranteed. The cache is the deep layer; the kit by your door is still the first one.

Standard

You book a packing appointment or drop a pre-packed capsule. Rotation, manifest, and 48 hour handback included. Band 1 pricing at your position.

Concierge

$49 CAD/month

Valet pickup and handback included; you never visit. You don't come to the cache. The cache comes to you. Band 1 pricing at your position.

Second capsule

$19 CAD/month

Same household, any band, flat rate. The usual split: one capsule of supplies, one of documents, media drives, and the things you'd want twice.

Continuity, racked and audited.

Eight reserved bays for firms that owe their people a real continuity plan: staff kits, site supplies, records. Each bay includes a quarterly physical check and a written compliance summary you can hand to your insurer or board.

The honest fine print.

Where exactly is the facility?

A hardened concrete facility between Gastown and Chinatown, Vancouver: 1,500 square feet, 11 foot clear height, anchored racking. We don't publish the street address; it's released to members after payment, together with the appointment-only access protocol. Fewer people who know where the supplies live, the better for everyone whose supplies live there.

Can I get my capsule during a major earthquake?

Honestly: don't plan on it in the first 72 hours. Roads, inspections, and safety come first, and the terms say exactly that: delivery or pickup as conditions allow, with no guaranteed access during the first 72 hours of a major event. That is precisely why your capsule complements the kit at home and never replaces it. Cache 001 is storage and logistics, not a shelter and not a place to go in an emergency.

Is the building earthquake-proof?

We don't make that claim about any building, including ours. It is poured concrete with anchored racking, and a structural review is in progress; when we have findings worth sharing, members hear them first and plainly.

What can't go in a capsule?

Fuels and pressurized cylinders, firearms and ammunition, cash, jewellery and irreplaceable valuables, perishables outside our managed rotation program, and medications that need refrigeration. Declared value is capped at $500 per capsule; the capsule is for readiness, not for treasure.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancel any time from your Stripe receipt or by emailing us. You then have 30 days to schedule handback of your capsule; concierge members get it returned by valet as the final service. Your position returns to the ladder.

Will my price go up when the band changes?

No. The price you subscribe at is the price you keep; bands only change what new members pay. The first 50 positions carry that promise explicitly as a lifetime lock at band 1 rates.
